Do masculine men like seeing womens reactions 24 7?

I know little boy men like to say or do bad things and dont care how much it bothers or hurts the woman. They will even take her sexually just for kicks and see the reaction once he leaves right.

But what about masculine mature men? Do any of them say small things just to playfully get a woman to react

I enjoy banter if I count. I'm not sure if I'm the most masculine or mature although I take my responsibilities to my job, wife, family, very seriously. Yet I've seen more mature and more masculine than me who do a similar playful thing with all people, not just women.

Banter tends to be a part of what thickens a man's skin and also how men tend to bond while still being able to humorously point out their observations about each other without leading to conflict. So it's common that we want to establish a similar sort of banter with women.

I don't do it so much to provoke my wife or see how she reacts though. What banter allows me to do with my wife is to say some things to her honestly but humorously that might offend her if we didn't have this playful form of communication.

Example type of teasing between my wife and me after I got a bit chubby a few years into marriage:
Wife: [pinching my belly]. What's this? You're getting fat!
Me: [pinch her belly back]. Look who's talking, fatso!

Then we both laugh and hug and then we started working out and dining out less.

My wife also loves to playfully tease all sorts of people. Sometimes she inadvertently offends them. She's sort of like a guy that way and very unusual in that she grew up the only daughter and youngest in a house full of elder brothers, and also took judo and kendo (on top of ballet and piano) growing up. So she likes that sort of banter and she's almost impossible to offend.
