Girls, I always feel like it’s creepy to ask a girl out at the gym. Is this true do you find it annoying when guys do this or wish they would more ?

I hate the idea of asking s girl out at the gym for fear of annoying her for the reasons you guys said. Would it be safer to do it if you have seen the girl looking at your or even staring a few times? Or is she just looking around lol

When I’m at the gym, I prefer to be left alone because I am focused on working on myself. Plus, I will be listening to music and not in the mood to talk and have a convo with anyone unless I need to.


If I were single, and if you really wanted to approach me, at least do it AFTER the gym, when I’m walking out. It would be a lot better and less creepy.

That’s the only way I thought too but then it’s weird to try to follow them outside 😂

Yeah, that’s the whole “creepy” part about it - being stared at.
I can understand it being even weirder to follow them out.

Well, maybe if they’re working on a set or something, you could ask how many sets they have left or if they’re almost done with it. Try and strike a convo that way, maybe? That’s if they aren’t listening to music or whatever.

It’s not creepy as it is annoying. I’m there to work out, not meet people. I’m usually short on time as it is and focused on getting my routine done.

The last thing I need is some random guy interrupting me to attempt to hit on on me, typically in a spectacular failing fashion.

It's creepy of you're "that guy" who asks out all the women at the gym.

She might just be looking around. There's not a whole lot to look at in the gym. Same equipment, same paint scheme, same dusty fan blades still haven't been wiped off, same dumb TV shows. 😂
