If a guy knows I'm upset at him but doesn't reach me out about it, does it mean he doesn'tlike me?

I'm friends with my crush (or so I thought) but he did some things which made me pretty upset and because of the nature of the things he did I was waiting for him to ask me what's wrong and show he actually cares, but he never did. Our eyes meet sometimes and he tried being friendly but he never actually addressed the problem at all.
Does that mean he simply doesn't care? Should I give up on him?

important to add I simply feel I shouldn't ask him about it because I'm scared he'll make fun of me to his friends or say I'm overreacting. I didn't think he was that kind of guy but now I simply don't know.

1) He may not have realized having wronged you. Some things are built into people : Example: In my family insult were a way of communication, In a normal household, insults are put on a pedestal. See maybe where does the issue come from and ask yourself if it's built into him to the point he doesn't see the issue.

2) Or doesn't care as much you do of him as he does of you. So you should probably make a move get rejected and move on.

It sounds to me like you don't know him as well as you thought you did, he's not the guy that you thought he was. If i were you, I believe I would move on. Find somebody that doesn't leave you guessing and upset you

No, he is giving it space for both of you. Best case speak ti him about the issue and take accountability for what is your fault. It would actually get you more respect
