What is this behavior?

The guy knew I had a crush on him when he tried to make me jealous. He would always reply one word to me in text. He would always stare at me from far with sad eyes. Everyday. His friends would tease him with my name. Sometimes he would comment on my pics. We know each other from school. I would always avoid him. He always try to get my attention. We were childhood friends but now we are more like enemies.

That kind of behavior is definitely the one of a creep with very specific intentions. The ones to make you uncertain and to create confusion. It seems that he is successful at it.

I don't think that he is trying to mob you but only to confuse you about him. Your best (and only option) is to totally ignore him and not to pay attention to his behavior. Once he notices that you don't react, he is likely to stop his attempts to manipulate your mind.

Get rid of him on your social media (if that is possible at all) and don't follow him on any social media. If he sees that you distance yourself from him, he will stop harassing you sooner or later.

I see it as if he is playing with your mind just because he knows he can manipulate you. You showed your weakness by indicating that you liked him.

Yes at first he was very kind to me. Too kind. Then things started getting ugly when I would avoid him just to play hard to get.

It sounds as if the guy does not like people resisting him or playing hard to get. He is not used that girls give him a hard time and he is taking it out on you for spite.

Yes he has dated girls in the past and is very attractive too. So its easier for him to get girls. One day he was staring and smiling at me but I reacted negatively. Still he never avoided me he would always look for some reaction from me I don't know why. Now he totally avoids me.

He's crushing on you but he's too shy to ask you out. He probably figures you are out of his league. Ask him yourself.

He just sounds kinda weird. I low key can't tell. Either way creepy and manipulative are similar in that manipulative people can be creepy and creepy people can be manipulative. Ask him maybe, but do it in a public place where he can't try to do anything.
