Men who are looking for a serious relationship partner very much like chaste women. Men who are just looking to get laid usually don't, because why would you take on such a battle that you're likely to lose?

You also need to realize that, while there is some overlap, for the most part, these are two very different groups of men, and so if you are marketing yourself to the wrong group of men, it's not surprising that you don't get any buyers. You won't catch saltwater fish in a fresh-water lake either.

As a generalization - which means, yes, a few exceptions may exist - "relationship men" are not the exciting, flashy, fashionable, dangerous, wild bad-boy types that most women find attractive. Instead, they're the "boring, predicable, responsible" types that are invisible to most women. They're far more likely to drive a Honda than a Ferrari, even if they could afford the Ferrari.

Ask yourself (it's not necessary to answer publicly) if you've been marketing yourself to the wrong group of men. Bad boys will only want you if they think they can fuck you, and a few will try just to enjoy the challenge, but they're never going to give you a relationship, and they'd never be faithful to you if they did. Just like you can't turn a hoe into a housewife, you also can't turn a Bad Boy into a "relationship guy."

Now, maybe you ARE marketing yourself to the relationship guys, but they aren't "buying" for reasons other than your chastity. Do you know what characteristics "relationship men" are looking for? Do you possess those characteristics? Again, you don't necessarily need to answer publicly, but you should know what men are looking for, and you shouldn't just assume you know the answers, you should actually find out from MEN what those answers are. You might be surprised by the answers - you might even be upset or offended by them - but just like anyone in marketing should know, if you hope to sell a product to a market, you'd better understand what that target market is looking for, because if you can't provide those things, your product won't sell.

I would have no problem dating a virgin if she was interested in losing her virginity in a committed relationship. And I certainly wouldn't mind remaining committed until we got to know each other well enough develop trust before consenting to sex. I respect girls who value themselves, have self esteem and healthy values. But a healthy body means a healthy libido, and she would need to desire and even crave eventual sex.

But being actually proud of chastity and thinking it is virtuous signals sexual inhibition and usually religiousness. It means that she's no fun. Sex to her is not passionate, it's transactional. "Give me a ring and a contract, and I'll grant you access to my pussy." What kind of trade off is that?

I would never date a woman who was saving herself for marriage because that would be like signing your life away for something sight unseen. I need to know that she has a strong libido and, moreover, that we are sexually compatible. What if she actually hates sex or has something physically wrong? And fuck devout religious belief.

The thing is, when you get into a committed relationship, you have to commit all the way. If you don't, you're not in a relationship. You're just platonic friends. So without the prospect of eventual sex, what's the point of dating?

I never had a girlfriend who was a virgin when we met. They weren't promiscuous, but they had been in previous relationships. They were also on the pill and really liked sex.

I think it's something I would have valued a lot when I was a virgin. Nowadays I feel like it would put me on uneven footing.

It's not really about the sex as a point of clarification: just different stages in life. I can be very patient about sex.

For example, after I graduated from university and worked full-time, I started becoming only interested in women who were also living alone and working. When I was a student, I was fine dating other students, but after graduation I wanted to date women who shared the same sort of lifestyle and responsibilities and experiences as me.

Also it greatly depends on which definition is being applied, as it means a couple different things.

Dating someone who is chaste would become almost pointless.
