Is my friend passive aggressive?

We had a "disagreement". He told me, out of nowhere, something negative he was thinking and I responded with my side. After that he stopped talking to me and just ignored any attempt by my side to resolve the problem. He stopped texting me and whenever I chat him up he responded in a cold manner.
