Is it a red flag in a man if he has his first relationship at 24?

The man who wants to be in a relationship with me hasn't had a girlfriend since highschool, though he says she doesn't count since it was highschool, so id be his first real, serious girlfriend. (He's had a few small things in-between but none progressed to a relationship. I'm the first he brought home to meet his mother also ) Is it common for a man to have his first serious relationship at this age? Or is this a red flag like maybe there's a reason it's taken this long?

People have different reasons for not being in a serious relationship early on. Maybe it just never fell into place for him naturally to be in one. isn't a red flag always but he could also be single for a reason. Its up to you to find that out.

Whether or not it's a red flag depends entirely on the reasons.

Some people mature slowly, some people have social anxiety (which for men tends to be at its worst when it comes to women), some people's lives don't turn out like planned, some people are too preoccupied with their own issues to even notice opportunities staring them in the face.

Especially nowadays I think the prevalence of young women and girls going almost exclusively for unavailable bad boys and ignoring normal guys is pretty high, I think. So there's bound to be a lot of guys who don't have many options except focus on themselves until they become less invisible to women.

Its okay. Some people really rather not enter a serious relationship unless they are 100 percent sure the other person suits them completely which takes time
