No, this is a lie women keep telling themselves while being disrespected and having their feelings ignored, trying to cope with suffering and bad communication in a dragging empty relationship that has nothing to offer, anymore.
Was he demonstrating your value at the beginning of the relationship by covering you of attention regarding your life, feelings and cared about your well being? If yes, well, it means he is capable.
