Why does this guy friend ask about my asset values although he is not a person who hates interfering with other's matters?

I like this guy friend of mine and he knows about my interest. Recently we've been talking about finances a lot. He takes deep interest in where I will by a new house, what budget do I have, and how much does my current house costs. He also gave me real estate tips to sale it a better price and then look into all the options before taking a decision.
Besides, a few days ago, he also had openly shared with me (when I asked) the value and price of his house and how much it costed to him to build his own house. He also told me his plan to build another floor of the house is on delay and he'll see it through.

Anyways, i'm just wondering if guys are open to sharing such a private thing like asset values with a female friend?
As far as I know him, he doesn't treats other females the same way; in fact he would simply close up and change the topic if someone would ask him something he doesn't want to answer.

He obviously is comfortable around you. Keep that information to you. Don't expose them to anyone else and you are good. And there's a possibility he likes you too but to conclude that there is not much information provided on the question
