Why he became passive when I forgot to reply his message?

I didn't mean to ignore him on purpose. Im sad and stressed seeing him being passive

Maybe he assumed the worst about why you didn't reply and is mad or something. Jumping to conclusions is so common among guys sadly. And when we feel burned or bad about a percieved change in attitude with the girl we tend to change our behavior too. Usually we either get desperate and try harder, or mad and try less. You could try explaining why you didn't reply.

There is always multiple possibilities with these kind of things. For example maybe he got mad or maybe he got busy this week. Though flat out ignoring you isn't really a good sign. I have to wonder if he who is just a friend is worth all this worry and attention, specially if he did get mad and is ignoring you just because you didn't reply to his message. But live your life the way you want. I hope you get what you want in this situation.
