What does it mean when a guy doesn’t text you back until the day or time you have plans with him?

So I've been making plans with this guy this one day lets say its Sunday. Sunday we make plans to hang out Tuesday. So after we talk about the plans he doesn't call or text me until the day of the Tuesday.
I've made plans with this guy before and we would talk a lot even days before a plan.

Honestly I have done this with women. If we have just met or just getting into dating. The reality is that I do not want to spend hours texting or talking before a date. I like to save if all for the date, because its hard to start up conversations at a date with someone you hardly know after you have told them all there is to tell about yourself over the phone. In person conversations have way of going into different directions, and you get that person to person interaction. Last thing you want is her making up her mind about you based upon a text or phone conversation when you could give her a better opportunity to get to know you in person.

So honestly, that's why I do have done that, but in all fairness I explain this to the women before I just do not text her for a day or two... after a few dates the guy should be talking to you on the phone or texting daily if you are wanting a committed relationship... other than than that you have to ask him why he is doing what he is doing and see what he says... I can not speak for him.

Well said because when a person describes themselves over the phone or text we create an image of who we think they are. And if they don’t live up to the image we created in our mind our attraction weakens smh. So it is best to just get to know each other over a face to face date.

He wants to get to know you more face to face. He doesn’t want to give you a false impression of who he is.


I use to think it sucked, but from experience I’ve learned that face to face is the best way to get to know someone. You can say anything over text.

Why not ask him? Personally when I dated I didn't like talking between the dates because it was a quick way to run out of things to talk about on a date and at the same time, it was quick to talk a woman right out of liking you.
