I hid the secret for a long time. It honestly just gets heavier and heavier and you know they don’t feel the same. We lived together and I just felt like I was betraying our friendship kind of and I felt so guilty about how I felt about her. Eventually I started getting physical anxiety really bad and I finally told her after two years of anxiety and just being upset at myself. We talked about it and we’re still friends, we don’t hang out as much, and about two months after that she moved for a new job she got in the next town.

I’ve been living alone, so I’ve been more depressed, but my physical anxiety has been gone, I prefer depression to anxiety honestly. Our friendship is just a lot more distant, so it’s sort of sad

I was in love for like 2 years with a coworker i still see at work from time to time. One day a few months ago or so I read something that made it click and I was able to for big chunk just move on from that fantasy about being his woman. I realize now it was like a weight lifted off me and I am more free. Even around him. After two years, we are not a couple and have not even went on a date or even talked on the phone. How much longer will one long for something thats clearly not going to happen. I mean it was love at first sight for me. So to think it would take 3+ years for the other party to care for you... Just randomly start loving you... Yeah no.
