@kimber655 find some place where he is comfortable and something he likes doing.

It’s important he’s well inside his comfort zone, also that it’s ideally something fun where you can talk and maybe have a laugh.

Being in his comfort zone and happy / laughing will make him more open and also approchable.

It’s then a case of letting him know you like him MORE than just a friend.

While doing whatever you both choose, if there is hand contact etc, it also helps.

Also make sure there are limited distractions.

Walks, picnics, bike rides are simple ones, after that it’s down to stuff you may have in common,
