Long story short, this is a guy I do work with and has been going on for awhile but I’m tired of just being stuck on this one person and ready to see if I should just ask already or give up.
I made a prior post about it and how we worked together, but it’s a bit different now. The other night he wanted to race so we did and then texted a bit that night. But it’s not constant at all although I’m not putting in effort either because I don’t know but it’s still a step because we never texted before and now we will every so often (mostly about work or etc.)
I also asked to borrow some Googone stuff and instead of bringing it to work because he “forgot”(like the whole two days he could’ve brought it when we worked, but then mentioned before i left both days to let him know when to bring it)
So after a few nights i texted him and then asked if he wanted to just hangout whenever he was bringing the Googone, as I had a other coworker over and my friend and he said yes. We drank a bit but still me and him were pretty awkward and we would look at each other and smile and just make small comments while my coworker carried the whole convo. My friend said he kept looking at me which I tried to avoid looking at him because I make it so obvious lol. But before he left I looked at him (or stared lmao) and he looked down and back up and smiled.
Im really thinking about asking him today to come pick up the Googone and then ask if he wants to chill because I really think when we hung out with them it just didn’t go well for us lol. Good idea or no? This is cringey so I apologize and i know work relationships aren’t ideal and that’s why Im waiting this out.
