I dated my younger (3 years) sister's best friend while my sister dated my best friend. In the end, nothing worked out.

Everyone married someone else. Except for me, who has never been married.

  It was okay me dating her friend as we were teens. We did all agree that no matter what we would be friends when we broke up.
  
  ‘Seeing’ her ex girlfriend was a bit more of a problem lol as we were older.

  @Horse-girl I would say it’s critical whenever you date a friends sibling or even another friend in a group of your friends. The majority of dating does end, if it ends badly it can really fuck dynamics of the group up or make it awkward with sibling etc.

  @Horse-girl admittedly when I dated a mates sister we kept it secret as he would have killed me. So we had 12 months n a bit of being really sneaky.

I think it’s pretty common. I know my brother had crushes on some of my friends when we were growing up. In my own relationship, I was the younger sister’s friend my husband had a crush on!
