Do girls "crush" on guys the same way guys crush on girls?

I hear that most people only feel physically attracted to their "crush" and that it's not actually a crush because you don't know that person. A lot of us guys would say we have a crush on a woman but we never talked to her, we just like the way she looks. Do women even feel the same physical attraction for the guy they are "crushing" on?

I suppose there is a strong physical attraction, but I think proper crushes only come once you get to know them.

The first time I properly saw this guy in my class, I was blown away by how gorgeous he was, but I never really thought about him as a crush, just an insanely fit guy, until I talked to him and discovered that he also had a great personality.

And yeah, while I know some insanely gorgeous boys, I don't really think about them too much because I don't really know them.

I think maybe you're thinking of basic infatuation, like "oh she's hot", which is a little more emotionally detached compared to a crush.

i don't know about other girls, but i have two types of crushes, on based on physical attributes and another based on personality.

i find the physical type of crushes tend to be the "nothing, and then all at once" type of crush that lasts from a few days, to just over a month. the personality type tend to go through (a rather agonizing) "do i really like him or not" phase. and then there's the "he totally likes me back/he doesn't even like me" phase that comes once you figure out that you like him. then what usually follows is either the cold hard truth or a new boyfriend.

well, if you like a guy's personality, everything about him seems better. but let's face it, not every guy has won the genetic lottery.

not exactly unattractive. (i say not exactly because what i call attractive might not be the case in another person's pov) i meant guys who are shorter than me. 😂😂

i'm around 172 cm, which is giant considering where i live and my age (i think that's 5'7 or 5'8?) and i have crushed on guys who are shorter than me. so yes, i would get together with guys who are shorter than me if i'm attracted to their personality.

well, it depends. I have 2 types of crushes, the first one is the guy which i really like his appearance but never talk to because i don't feel need to. The second one is the guy which i usually talk to and also like his personality, despite the fact that sometimes i look at him and wonder why do i like him so much. Hope this help:))

yeah, i like his appearance, and a lot of girls like his looks too. But you know, sometimes my friend ask me what do i like the most about him, so i take a look of him and i really don't know, then i think about our conversations, that's when i know that i like his personality.

Yes. It's the same for women. Psychological differences between men and women are often exaggerated. There are significant differences, but most things are the same.

Yes we both get a crush on people the same way. Though I have only goten crushes on people I have met in person. Men and Women behave much differently when they do have a crush though. A women will often hid it from the guy she likes until she can't stand it and she tells some one. A guy will often tell a bunch of his friends that he likes this girl. For various reasons.

I have met guys that were physically what I really liked, and I felt a touch giddy in their presence but I didn't crush on them before I got a sense for who they were. I am one of those people who doesn't develop feelings for people I don't know.

No, women definitely can feel that men are attractive the way men see women are attractive. We all have our personal preferences but I definitely can look at a guy and find him physically quite attractive.

Yes. However, it really depends on the type of crush. I have my ideal crush who I connect with and talk to and then I have the 2nd or 3rd crushes who I like just for looks. But that's just me.

Uhhh I'm pretty sure that a crush is someone that you're attracted to even without knowing them. whoever told you that, doesn't understand the term "crush".
