My husband of 2 years has been so distant and detached for the past couple weeks. We found out im pregnant with our first 3 months ago, he won't touch me and now he barely talks to me. He jumps online on his game as soon as he gets home from work and when he's not on that he's watching tik toks on his phone all night until sleep. He also got high last weekend on coke for a night, we argued because he begged me to drive him to get another bag..
He hasn't touched me in weeks and today I found out he went to a park bathroom and jerked off before coming home..

This can't be a normal thing right? Has anyone else that's pregnant gone through this? Could I have done something without knowing to upset him? Is our marriage failing? I don't get it

Did you two discuss starting a family before you got pregnant? It may be that he's really shook up by the prospect of becoming a father. It means he's REALLY got to face being a man, now; the happy-go-lucky life is over. Bills, responsibilities, being a role model for the child -- it's moving on to a new stage of life, and he may be just temporarily scared!
My mother once told me that the morning after she married my father, he suddenly turned pale! She asked him what was the matter and he said, "I just realized what happened! We got married! Bills, responsibilities, etc., etc., " and she had to reassure him that everything would be all right. I can tell you that he did okay! And I'm sure your husband will, too.
But why don't you ask your husband what's up? If he says, "Nothing," you need to draw him out. He may be uncomfortable admitting his inner fears to you.

You are in a toxic relationship. Why date a drug addict in the first place. He shouldn't be around your child if thats gonna carry on. And no this behaviour is not normal. He doesn't want to be the father. Thats what i think.

Guilt trip when and where? I said I caught him a few times. He would do it in the lounge room and I would walk in and he would jump. Then he would just be awkward the rest of the day

I'm willing but he has a very "I've done nothing wrong" personality. His communication is horrible and he would 100% laugh at me if I offered counselling.
