Do you think it was a coincidence or fake accident?

I texted the wrong person and the guy replied asking who I am. He doesn't have my new number. I didn't reply and that was ages ago. I just got a text from him that was meant for someone else. He said he meant to text someone else with same first name and doesn't know who I am but he saved me as "Maybe Mya."

Do you think that's likely? First I texted him by accident, and now he's done the same.
