So I’ve been friends with a guy for about a year and some months now. Eventually I grew to like the man.

yesterday I decided to tell him I liked him.

he was shocked but also happy. His response left me kind of confused tho. “Wow, I like you to you’re my dawg. I’m shocked this has been a good day. I need to process this.”

I don't know how to take this response. What do you all think?

Not sure if I would take that very well.. at least you had the guts to tell him though! Being confused is absolutely a normal feeling to how he responded and whether or not he likes you back, just remember how important your friendship is

Omg yes it took so much guts. Neither one of us has mentioned it today🤦‍♀️😂 so I’ll ask him later what he’s processed but I’m definitely not trying to ruin what we have. I just felt it wasn’t fair to him to not know and it was driving me crazy honestly.
