Whether others would or should is left to them but I personally would never ever confess love to anyone. Not by fear of rejection but simply because I have no plans to be in a relationship. I have set my priorities differently than others in my life and currently, I have no intentions to divert my attention to my life goals with a relationship that may jeopardize them.

There is obviously always a risk to confess your love to someone. It seems that it is fashionable in our times to hurry everything. If I was in that situation, I would never confess anything to anyone unless I know that person for a minimum of 10 years and I am familiar with their reactions.
