Why is he acting dump?

We went out on a date. He was awkward and nervous on date. I wanted to know how he felt about me and the date.

I asked him how he felt about when we met. by the way I was late on date. He replied” do you mean when you was late on date  I forgot about that long time ago”

Tbh I wanted to know how he felt about the whole thing. Why is he acting dumb…

by the way he replied to my text apologizing for replying late. He then asked if I meant by my question how the date went? Then I said yeah that’s what I meant. Then he said that it went pretty good/ alright. Tbh in our language what he said could mean pretty good or alright. I don't know if his reply was positive….

I would take it as positive as if he didn't like it he pretty much could have told u he didn't like it
