I’m going to be honest here, I did had a reconciliation in my hopes, but I sensed and saw that he was texting someone and getting calls (that he ignored, every single one) and figured out he was dating someone so I decided to cherish our friendship and not say anything.
After lunch we talked about going to a bar and agreed to do so later that night, we got there (again, there was never any “move or attempt” to anything nor romantically or sexually. Just friends having fun and making jokes) but when we were at the bar he just sat there with his drink and was head down just texting for around 15-20mins, every waiter was looking at me with “poor girl” eyes and I felt incredibly humiliated, because out of respect you don’t treat ANYONE that way. So I called him out again, and straight out told him that what he did was just disrespectful and that if he didn’t wanted me around he could’ve just said so, we’re grown ups, he apologized but never mentioned the girl he’s dating until I brought it up… why is it?
It was weird because he was acting nice and fun and then he’d get a text and get all weird and just step far away from me. I mean… we’re just friends now.
I asked him if he was trying to hide his feelings for me to himself or if he felt bad realizing that he still feels something for me even though he’s dating someone else… no reply, why? Was I too honest? (Can you honestly be too honest?)
