Why does he say this?

So this guy sometimes compliments me about my physical appearance, like my hands, my hair and he told me I have a mermaids body. But then he also tells me how other guys perceive me. He says that other men find me sexy. Why does he say this stuff to me?

He likes you, he is probably shy to say so, maybe little scared/insecure that you won't like him back or little jealousy and thats why he mentions other guys finding you good too

no no i am not saying he only likes your by your looks but what you said above that only give me the hint he finds you attractive and when he tells you look sexy to others because he cares about you that's all i can think of
