My boyfriend hides than he talks to his ex?

ok so that woman sometimes talks to him especially about their daughter
i told him once i dont like that he talks to her and he should even delete or block her
but when something happens to his daughter its normal i guess that he talks to her
they dont meet... as soon as i know, i dont live with him but work with him everyday and at least once a week stay at his flat
he hides when talking to her... i know it
I hate it
I want him to know i accept that he needs to talk to her sometimes
Should i have a serious talk and say:i prefer to know you talk to her, than see you hide and lie to me?
He think ill leave him if i know he talks to her

Telling him that he should block her is a very dumb thing to do since they have a child together. VERY dumb.

Tell him that you don't mind if he talks to her as much as you mind him trying to hide it. You'd prefer he's open about when he talks to her than trying to hide it.
