Does this guy like me should I talk to him?

Ok there is this really cute guy In my church who I think is really really cute my friends have told me he stares at me but, when he does, he side glances also he keeps looking down everytime he walks past me and he looks at the side of his eye my friends told me they catch him doing it and at first I thought he looks down naturally but he only does it with me? My friend also told me that he stopped gettint in his chair just to look at me? ( like he stopped to pull his chair and just stood there looking at me) than as soon as I said something he looked away immediately and got into his chair! Not only that but I had these particular phrases I said ) like words I made up) than I think he overheard me use them not directly with him bc I’m too shy to talk to him lol but with my friends than they next day I hear him copying me using the same words I did! Should I talk to him I am not sure he likes me but my friends think he does?

First of all... you should really only ask yourself if you should talk to him.
Never base your personal happiness on the permission or opinions of another person.
Second, yes he likes you but my guess he is just as shy as you or perhaps more.
So you are going to have to make the first move.
If you can't really talk directly to him, text him, or write a note.
Offer to meet him somewhere like a park or something...
Develop a good friendship and you will find the shyness will melt away sooner and faster that you could realize
