After a break up why would a guy notice soon that I unfollowed him and mention it to me?

Well it doesn’t really matter why he asked why you unfollowed him. What matters is what he says to you now and whether he wants to get back with you or not. That’s what you need to talk to him about.

Just don’t contact him for a while as there’s nothing you can do. He has to be ready to talk and want to work things out, which he said he doesn’t want to do. At least right now

You could try contacting him one more time after a week has passed, but then I would wait and see if he contacts you, because he already knows how you feel and what you want.

Well why did you break up? Did you do something wrong? You can just text him to say you hope he’s ok and you are sorry (if you did something wrong). But there isn’t really anything you can do. He might change his mind, but I would just try to move on and speak to other guys.

I have said some insensitive things to him (Not in purpose). During our first date he waited for me 40min outside the coffee shop.

During our first date I was 40minutes late. Later I asked him how he felt about our date indirectly. He then said “ do you mean when you was late. I forgot about that long time ago. Then I said no I didn’t mean that. He then lashed out to me saying that he can’t read my mind and that he thought our date was ok and that he doesn’t think that it will continue. I then removed him from my Instagram.

Well he definitely overreacted! How long were you together? It's probably best to move on and look forward to speaking to other guys. He seems to have a short fuse which is a red flag
