Older male at work has always told me what to do and given unsolicited advice both personal and professional at my retail job. Why?

He has been doing it a lot lately. He will give it to me and then walk away lately. So i dont even have a chance to respond. And he mumbles it a lot lately. It makes me uncomfortable.

Ignore him or next time you see him coming near you tell him to stop! That you don't want his advice. But honestly I would rather just ignore and avoid them

Thanks. Im thinking to just avoid and try not to run into him. I dont know if i just never noticed his habit before as much or if he's increased it lately but the advice and the mumbling and walking away is making me creeped out lol. He needs to stop or just have a normal conversation if he needs to talk to me.
