I am useless at communicating. I will go months without talking to my dad (who I get on well with) and when we text we can be all caught up after 3-4 texts. My brother I talk to like 4 times a year. If anything happened to either, I'd drop everything and be there ASAP.

Just because a guy isn't texting you or takes ages to reply, doesn't have to mean they aren't interested, or even that they aren't thinking about you. People have different love languages

No it doesn't mean that, it means that he's busy doing other things. Unless you're in a committed relationship then it's not a requirement to text everyday

Well an automatic assumption should not be made like that. He might be busy on that day or he wants you to initiate contact first.
