Wouldn't life be much better if guys could read our minds?

Question

When I ask my guy what he wants for dinner, he always comes up with the wrong answer.  How hard is it to come up with the right answer?  No, I don't want tacos. No, I don't want pizza. No, I don't want chicken.  I want spaghetti. How hard is that to figure out? And "frisky" times are the same.  Sometimes a little of that would be nice, and sometimes a little of this would be nice.  But why is he doing that other thing? Girls should never have to communicate. Guys should just know.

My partners so far have been too immature to handle my most honest thoughts. I still share with them honestly, but I tend to make sure I choose my words and actions very carefully.

I haven't been with many people who are capable of having serious and honest conversation. Mind, I also haven't been capable of it until recently. My first relationship was messy on both sides, but it taught me valuable lessons.

Minds are messy things. It takes a lot of work to get your own thoughts straight and keep them on the "right track", so to speak.

It's better to have the filter of our brain-mouth connection to choose words carefully for their intended effect.

But for the average dude why would he not just have fun until he finds the best girl or keep several women? That's more in line with what most men want.

So I mean your experience with guys in general would be better for the ones acting accordingly. But that doesn't mean you would be getting the relationship outcome you may or may not want.

So in a sense it's both better and worse depending on how you look at it. More dudes that can satisfy you but the reverse is more dudes can satisfy more women in general and now have less motivation to keep you

Wow. This is scary. The requirements have just gone up chaps! And I can't figure out what my cat is yowling for. Is it the kitty litter again or does he want play time or does he just like the way his yowl echos at the top of the stairs?

I'm going to have a tough time with this new req. :) The only thing I seem to be able to reliably intuit is when a girl has sensitive ears. I thought that was pretty good but obviously not good enough now.

I think the food side is going to be tougher than the frisky side - at least you get some body language cues with the later.

Honestly I would LOVE to have some sort of device to just transfer a general experience between men and women.

Like we like to poke fun that women often say "you just don't get it", but my GOD are there so many cases where I could say the same. Like, understanding is a two-way-street thank you very much.

It's what I liked about "Self-Made Man" by Norah Vincent. She basically lived her life as a man for several months and had a ton of revelations about the male experience that she didn't have before, because she had never bothered to learn.

Nope because a lot of women would still have poor communication skills. Simply because some women act as if a people should be able to read their mind to make up for your poor communication skills. Also the whole idea of their only being one acceptable answer to a given question only underlines this. If you ask me if you ass looks fat in a pair of jeans I'm going to give you a honest answer. So if you can't handle a honest answer don't ask the question. Because part of having good communication skills is giving honest answer to a given question.
