What is the difference between a Ken and a Darren?

Both seem to be used interchangeably for the male version of a Karen (if they don't just call the guy a Karen). But there has to be a difference. Am I right?

Yea I have met some really nice Karen's. I should not complain I still make Brandon jokes just not all the time. But that is another issue.

Kind of like there is nice people named Ken and Darren too! LOL. I bet people named Karen though it was all funny and cute like the first 500 times someone did it. LOL.
