Why is this just "the love of the game"
But this is "crazy"...
Sports games vs concerts why is screaming and crying at one frowned upon but acceptable at the other?

My hypothesis is rooted in recognition of historical patterns that have played out repeatedly during the lifecycle of various cultures. Warriors are the heroes of cultures when they are in their growth phase. These times are usually marked by disunity within the culture (the Warring States period of China, the Greek city states, feudal Europe, etc.). Sports typically evolve along with increased political stability to replace actual combat as a way to redirect the innate tendency toward male aggression into activities that are not so damaging. Performers, however, are typically looked down upon until a culture is firmly in decline and in a stage of development in which their elites need to distract masses with bread and circus, at which point performers become celebrities. This association of decadence and decline is why, on a primal, subconscious level, people are more apt to react negatively to fawning over musical performers than being emotionally engaged in sporting events.
I don't see any guys crying. I wouldn't say there is to much of a difference between the adrenaline charged men in comparison to the sobbing women except the obvious. Personally I fall asleep during team sports. I'm a more extreme 1 person competitor sports fan although I used to play 2 man in the sand volleyball for gambling sport.

because that's actually how the love for the game looks like... lol
stupid? yes sure, but still love... the ACTUAL crazy in sports, is REALLY crazy... people literally kill each other, stabbings, shootings, massive brawls, throwing people downstairs and what not... so that's when people say... yeah, THAT is crazy
In both instances i just stay home and play video games lol. too rowdy for me.
But i don't see an issue with being and showing you are passionate about something you love.
There is no difference. Many guys will claim there is because they've bought into the lie that guys are logical and women are emotional, but both the societal lie and the view that there is a difference are a bunch of misogynistic bullshit
I dont recall anyone saying this difference before, people go to concerts
There's a huge thing around women in particular being "crazy" for screaming or crying over singers/bands. But the same people will defend people screaming and crying over sports teams.
Well I wouldn't say crazy, I think you meant cringy, it's cringy when it's done in concerts but in sports it's hyped lol
Why?
Because you see doozy there's a difference, in sports when people get hyped it's over the sport itself and the urges to want their team to win and people go crazy because of that hype, in concerts these women are just drooling over a person and they go crazy over the fact that the person they admire is right in front of them which can make it cringy if they over react, if you are at a concert and just vibe to the music them you can exclude yourself from the cringe doozy but if you are there sqealing your lungs out touching your forehead in disbelief about to faint then you participate in the cringe šš
No difference - they're both crazed, that's why they're called "fans", which is short for fanatics. LOL
Frankly I think both behaviors are a bit cultish but I am not much of a collectivist 🤷
I never knew that it was unacceptable to scream at a concert. I remember the Beatles.
I mean both are fine if you like them. As long as your responsible and don't go to far which sadly this is common that occurs in both people kinda make it almost to big a deal and part of their life.
What do you mean by that?
Some people in both concert and sport environments go way to far. Neither I would say are crazy. One your watching an activity and the other is appreciating a form of art.
There isn't really a difference. Or shouldn't be a noticed one.
Dancing in a circle in front of a concert movie is cult-like
Imagine never having an original thought... Relying on the internet to have every thought for you to follow like a little š
Didnāt know it was frowned upon to scream at concerts?
They are both the same thing
There is no difference. They are both crazy.
