Why did I ever like this 40 year old IDIOT coworker? Today I finally saw thats he's ugly inside with no redeemable qualities?

he's so disgusting inside. He became a supervisor a few months back and now he shows his ugly ass. He feels comfortable being rude and nasty attitude to people including me.. he's impatient, ugly inside, a pervert, a creep , bully, etc. I could go on. he's so hideous its no wonder he never wants to marry. NO BODY WANTS TO MARRY HIM. he's REPULSIVE AND IM SURE WOMEN he's BREN WITH ARE. OVER HIM WITHIN A SHORT TIME ONCE SHE SHOWS HIS UGLY ASS. What an ugly fucking rat.

Young people tend to have a sort of cartoonish view of the world. The grit and flaws are added to the picture somewhat gradually and ultimately once you see "the man behind the curtain" and discover the overwhelming majority of people are just acting in a way that minizes the damage the receive from their own insecurities, it becomes a little sickening to discover their charm was rehearsed and staged.

I mean as some people get older they tend to learn what outward signs cause other people to think they are what they want and so learn to mimic those signs instead of actually being what anyone wants..

He has learned how to manipulate younger girls into thinking he is something to be desired but his method for doing so doesn't evolve and so once a girl grows out of it it will seem almost childish to her. Like a magic trick that's really dumb once you learn he just had a fake hand or something, but the innocent desire of the young to believe in magic was stoked and so it almost feels like a violation.

My suspicion is he believed in his own magic, as it were, because you did. And now that you aren't buying it anymore all the self worth he hung on your belief in him is eroding. And the sad fact is self worth ends up being pretty much everything to most sane people, regardless of their flaws.
