First off, I don't cheat. If I want to be with someone else I do the decent thing and end the current relationship first.

As for going with your gut? I always do and It rarely tells me wrong. If however you are unsure.. care to elaborate on your situation?

Be said he will take a ride home instead he was seen near his ex s house
I tried to call jim he didn't answer and disnt give me good night
He always says good night, even when sick or tired
Never leavs me withourt good night or explanation why he didn't pick up a phone
The area he went has nothing nearby important

I think you should wait until you see him next and ask him "why should I believe you?" Then look him square in the eye and see if he looks away when he explains himself. If he can't maintain eye contact the whole time? He's lying!
