Should I continue giving him space or is it time to call it quits?

My boyfriend and I have been living together for the past three years; Recently,
we've been fighting a lot as he no longer wants to help with household chores and has become accustomed to me paying for everything. Mind you, he makes 40K more than I do and his only responsibility is our mortgage (I pay utilities, groceries, vacations, eating out etc.). We both work full time jobs that can be highly stressful and we both hit the gym at 4am. He gets home and either wants to nap or be glued to his phone for the remainder of the day; While I get home and start getting dinner ready, washing any dishes left over night, and homework with our son. When I ask for help in anything, it turns into 'I worked all day and I'm exhausted and need to rest. All you want to do is nag me. OR he will say he did something outside and that I don't give him credit.' Mind you, all he does is water outside. My father comes over on a monthly basis and he and I will clean the front and backyard while he sleeps or watches movies. It's going on three weeks now that I have distanced myself from him; I don't ask him for help, I let him come and go as he pleases, I am not affectionate and we do not have sex. It seems like he likes this which leads me to believe that he does not love me, he just loves having a woman who takes care of everything. He wasn't like this before, is it time to call it quits?
Should I continue giving him space or is it time to call it quits?
