If you ask a question and get an answer you do not want that's on you.

If anyone, regardless of age, belittles you, shows condescension, says aggressively hateful things, well... They're assholes.

That isn't advice and they're not telling you how to live, they're just trying to put you down because they get joy out of behaving that way for some reason. Your age can gain you experience and perspective but what you've done in those years will vary and doesn't guarantee they are wise. Some people out there are just terrible human beings and think they have a right to behave that way.

Here's some insight from someone more than twice your age. Learning how to ignore or not take the bait is difficult but necessary. They want you to react or be hurt by their words. I know this and I still struggle because we're human. Good luck
