What was the thing that made you see your female friend as a romantic interest?

I like my good guy friend and if he doesn’t see me as a romantic interest now, I want to know how I can change that.

You have to take the risk and let him know how you feel. Just reverse it. If it was him, what would you want him to do? In the end, the risk will be "worth it", no matter how he feels because even if it doesn't go your way and he doesn't feel the same, depending on the level of your feelings, you can either "move on" (and the friendship can still survive if you're both mature about it and communicate), or maybe you're feelings are too strong and continuing the friendship won't be possible for you anyway (because of your feelings).

Just be yourself around him and start to flirt. Small things like longer tighter hugs, jokes, compliments. He might just not see you in that way though. Like if in terms of attractiveness he is or you are, wayyy out of the other's league, he might not be able to think of you romantically
