Me and my husband had to live in a hotel. We lost our house... and we are not getting along. I live with my parents and he lives with his gossiping friends. They talk extremely bad about me and he doesn't do anything about it. He doesn't defend me at all. I told him how I felt and he just got upset and told me he doesn't want to end up homeless on the streets. So he keep his mouth closed.

So basically he is choosing to listen to his buddies berate and belittle you.
He doesn't have any else to go? I guess I would have to tell him since we're married that there are resources within the community that we can utilize that would make the situation less stressful on both of us. Because I wouldn't feel comfortable at a place where my friends are doing that to him.

Well that’s hard to say honestly. Because maybe his friends are right. I don’t know you, neither do most people on this site. So you could be making yourself look good when it really is you. I had an ex who used to tell her family it was me till they realized she was the one who was really the problem. Maybe he agrees w them, he just doesn’t want to speak the truth.

How will it make him homeless? lol Don't follow that logic. But what if you leave him over it, will that not give him the same result? And in my opinion, that is a much higher risk (?).
