Am I overthinking (probably)? Does this make him a bad person?

In a game, a guy I like and I were role playing pregnancy in a video game and we suddenly I decided to say we were having twins and he was super happy surprised. Again, this was a video game role play (not irl) and I was asking sad to see his reaction. He is pro choice and said “if you wanna have only one and not the other its up to you queen” basically offering to abort one of them in the game even tho he was trying to confort me in game and wanted to have both. That comment struck me I don't know why lol. He was just trying to be pro choice I guess but since the pregnancy in game was “planned” it kinda made me question. I voice chatted with him and he said he felt terrible for saying that after I explained you don’t offer abortions for planned pregnancies. Again this is A GAME RP so I might be taking it too far but he suggested it as a pro choice alternative since he saw me rping as sad and worried. Does that make him a bad person? Again, he wanted the twins but suggested a one baby abortion since he saw me acting sad I guess. Was this bad or am I overthinking?

Yes, you are overthinking. As proven by you acting sad to get a reaction. Which you got and now are overthinking. :D
It's not like he said it out of the blue. He misunderstood your feeling because you weren't honest. He knew you wanted the pregnancy (in-game) and he saw you were unhappy with how the pregnancy turned out. So the only logical explanation was that you wanted a pregnancy, but not twins. So he tried the only thing he could think of to make you feel better. That' all he did.

But remember, you're just as responsible for his reaction as he is. Because you put him on the spot. You deliberately confused him to see how he would react. Now you know.
If you don't wanna know, don't ask.

So, yes, you're overthinking it. Partially because it's a game and it there wasn't an actual pregancy and there were no real babies. That doesn't mean you shouldn't think about it at all.

My advice:
Either: Don't act weird if you don't want him to react weird. If you put people to the test they're gonna react to the test. Not reality.
Or: Come to terms with the fact that, when you do odd things, other people's reactions are just as much a reflection of your behavior as they are a reflection of what's going on with them. Which, in this case, is, that he's simping hard for you and apparently took it a little too far, when provoked.

Maybe that's what's bothering you. That he's only saying what he thinks you want to hear. Maybe he should be more honest, too.
