My best friend is a guy. We see each other weekly and text almost everyday. He says he hasn't had a connection like this ever before and he wants to work for our friendship. He gave me his spare key to his house and we usually hang just the two of us.

I told him I have a crush on him but he said he doesn't feel the same way. After that he said that "However I don't see why that would not be possible"

What is he thinking?

Give it time and let him know you are there for him as a friend and that you are still interested in him. The best thing you can do is be his friend eventually his eyes will open up. In the mean time keep playing some Taylor swift songs while you are together.
