So I am a nurse and there is this guy (a doctor) who works in the same ward as me. When we discuss patient matters, he seems to always come very close to me, where one tiny step would lead to our arms touching. Onetime his Hospital Trolley (where the laptop stands) did not work, so he decided to look through patient documents on mine. Then he decides to explain something to me (whilst we were standing behind my Hospital trolley) the eye contact was so intense that I got lost in his eyes. I only snapped out of it because my colleague asked me something. It felt like I felt an electric shock in my belly. Ones I looked back is like he avoided eye contact and was not standing as close to me. Made me question if he felt it also. Hours later, a colleague was talking to him and I saw him looking at me through my peripheral vision whilst I was passing bye.
It is a work environment, and we are both professionals, but does are things I noticed. I feel like he likes me, am I wrong maybe, is he just nice?
PS. English is not my first language

Sounds like someone who is experiencing attraction to you. How much details about him do you know.
Sounds like there could be a possibility of him liking you but it's too soon to tell or maybe he is married?
Maybe. But if I had to say yes or no I’d say no. For one working in the hospital or any healthcare setting requires patient care confidentiality, HIPAA. So he may have been standing close as to keep the conversation to a low tone so that other staff members including other patients or visitors couldn’t hear what he was saying. Also depends on what shift this occurred. If it’s night shift most patients are sleeping so there’s usually a quiet times. So in those situations we use a low tone of voice. I’ve had female doctors talk to me at night, standing close, explaining something but never felt as though they were into me. As for him looking when you walked by, if a girl is cute most men will look no matter what. It just tends to happen. Maybe his eye contact was intense because he was intense, passionate about what he was saying. There could be a chance but right now nothing of what you said alludes to yes he likes you.
