Advice very welcome am I missing the signs?

over the last few years I’ve met 2 ladies they were very keen and we had a great time then suddenly no interest with excuses

Life events happen and people have to make choices... in my experience that is what this is about. Context is everything, like for example I have dated women and every was going great... but she was a single working mother, and I failed to realize how stressful it was for her to make time to spend with me and still manage her children and work.

Like she totally wanted to spend time with me, and would come and stay with me as means of escaping her day-to-day life... over time she started feeling guilty about it because all the time with me was time no with her kids.

Now she never said that out loud to me or even tried to discuss it with me. She made the choices she made. Why?

Because at point in her life she just needs that, and now she has to go back to her duties as a mother. So, the window of opportunity that we had together changed as her life situation changed, and she did not, would not, or felt she should not share that with me.
