Am I reading the signs correctly or not?

I have a work crush. He’s a team lead but not my direct lead. He works in the first floor. At first when we meet we didn’t even say “Hi!” Then after one night I asked him a question regarding an area I was working in and that’s it. Then he said “Hi!” And “what’s up!” the next few days we saw each other. I didn’t thought too much of it. I responded nonchalant or sometimes happily.

Then suddenly last week something changed, while we crossed paths he slowed down, walking next to me. I saw him looking at me from the corner of his eye. He then with a awkward or nervous smile told me in a low voice, “Hi name!” I was shocked. I replied without looking at him, “Hi!” a bit loud and sped walk. I was so nervous and shy! Caught me off guard.

Then, the next days he didn’t say hi! We bumped but he seemed to be in a hurry. I would be looking and he would already be looking. Today I went out my lunch to buy coffee and he saw me. He was looking down at a paper and he then look up and stared at me. His face had worry or as if he was expecting me to say something. I also passed by today and he saw me and awkwardly turned away real fast. I clocked out and again I saw how he was staring at me when he was speaking to a coworker.

I notice he says hello when alone. I’m not sure if he likes me, but his face seems shy or awkward.
