Why would a guy block you on his main account and use his meme page to follow you?

This guy from college has been acting bizarre lately. I knew he had made a meme account and used it to follow me, but then I checked his main account and I was blocked there. Nevertheless his Meme account still follows me on IG and he’s keeping me blocked on his main. I have not reacted in any way because I don’t want him to know I uncovered his identity (through his followers list). What do u think this guy is up to?
