Why did he want my insta?

I’ve been talking with this guy for a while now and recently he’s really seemed way more interested in hanging out and doing stuff with me. Then suddenly the other day he texted that he wanted me to follow his insta so I did and he replied with a bunch of hearts. I asked if he’d follow me back and he said yes but still hasn’t. I’m just confused on what he’s doing?

That’s a little odd. Is his Instagram private? If it is sounds like he’s hiding something on his insta. Possibly a girlfriend?

No it’s public and I’m already following him he just hasn’t followed me back yet
