I just find guys with nerd ass hobbies cute and they always get me smiling kicking my feet and shit when I like them. Having trouble finding any, where do I look?
Well, remember that a hobby is just a hobby; it's definitely good to have shared interests, but that and in of itself isn't all that you need. It's also okay if you DON'T have it as an interest you're knowledgeable about- nerds LOVE talking about their interests; it's one of our defining characteristics- but nerd culture is OVERPOWERINGLY meritocratic. Go in claiming to be an expert, and you WILL be called on it. This isn't hostility; it's sussing out your place in the social ecosystem. Saying something like "I'm interested in learning more about X, can you tell me?" will earn you lots of brownie points. Your eyes MAY glaze over at some point, though; there are nerds out there who NEVER get a chance to talk about it, and some will go way overboard.
With that particular warning out of the way (I don't want to come across as dismissive, but nerd culture in general is not in best of places these days, and it does a number on the psychology of many nerds; some aren't as welcoming as they should be of newcomers), is there a particular flavor of nerd you're looking for? Sci-fi nerds are most easily found at conventions, board game nerds at board game stores (many of which have designated areas for play set up, so it's a place where people can spend all day), pretty much EVERY form of nerd frequents bookstores (secondhand ones are usually better than first-run places, though both will work). I'm not sure where you'd go to find computer nerds these days; most of the big parts shops are either gone or going out of business. Of course, since being only one type of nerd is pretty rare, you're likely to find the same people at a lot of the same places... You might want to check Meetup or a similar site to find gatherings in your area. Searching for a Dungeons and Dragons group would probably also work- the company that makes the game (Wizards of the Coast, a subsidiary of Hasbro) has gotten *creepily* political in recent years, but I don't know how much of that has filtered down to individual groups. Pathfinder might yield better results, if much has.
Also, note (if you're not aware already) that while the idea of nerd communities being hostile to women is (for the most part) utter nonsense, the idea of nerds being awkward around girls is NOT. Be prepared, and be forgiving of minor social blunders. Good luck!

You have to go where they go, like a game shop or comic book store. You could also try joining a dungeons & dragons game, I've been in a few online ones and they are all generally pretty wonderful. You could also find a local game to join

date them based on how you treat them, and how they treat youIf any woman called anything I was interested in a “nerd ass hobby” I’d think I was talking with a very unsophisticated person.
