I don’t get his motives so what does he want?

A guy I had a thing with cut me off last year out of no and I ended up heartbroken. I’ve know him for years now. He anonymously called me names after he cut me off last year and then I didn’t talk to him at least a couple days to talk about what happened until the beginning of this year. And then a couple weeks ago on my other main account I told him through his main that I forgive him but he responded with 3 skull emoji’s. But I have found he’s stalking my social media for months now I think since I made my main Instagram public. He stalks me on Instagram and God knows where else on the same annonymous account and he still has me blocked on his actual account at least for my main. He doesn’t stalk me on Instagram everyday but it’s just once every about 2 days. I don’t get his motives.

real stalkers sit outside your house in a car all night and break into your house to go through your things.

Going to your social media and looking at the things that you have chosen to put up hardly matches that standard.

I don't quite understand the source of your confusion. The guy really obviously hates you and wants to make an effort to antagonize you. There's nothing mixed about those signals.

He either wants to mess with you and get you back or there is slight chance he still likes you. Maybe 1%.
