Guys who are married or have serious girlfriends, why would you still check women out?

I work in a setting where I see a lot of married guys checking out women. For instance, my professors' husband was not in a "sexual" matter, but yes i've seen him staring at me a couple of times. For reference, my professor is a beautiful woman and I doubt he was doint it intentionally. I dont stare at him neither any men who's married, but I do wonder, why men do this even in a serious relationship.

As others have said just because we are married doesn't mean our attracted to sensors are turned off. Although at times we wish they were. Yes women have the same issue and trust me the both sexs respond the same way to it. However in this case if it bothers you or creeps you out talk to your professor. The way I avoid this with my wife as best I can is we make a game out of it pointing out what is attractive to us about the other people. We make sure not to make comparisons to each other. This also allows to sometimes change our clothes or go for adiffent hairstyle that is fun for each other.

Thanks for sharing you view. In a way, makes sense. I remember a man who was way older than. me told me once that "life" would be difficult for me because of my appearance, meaning could be a distractor, even when I'm kind of traditional and modest in my style. I've seen guys do gaze in a spontaneous way, seems some dont do it intentionally and I kind of redirect.

We're not blind, so we notice attractive women. We're just hardwired to do that. And it's harmless and doesn't mean we'd act on the fact that there is an attractive woman there.
