Fiance didn't text me for 6 hours after he got off work. He knows it upsets me when he goes silent but does it repeatedly. Is this a red flag?

I texted him at 6 pm updating him on what I was doing. He responded at 11 pm saying he passed out. At 12 am he texted again saying good night. I didn't respond and at 1230 he said "Oh yea I also love you." He didn't apologize. I told him it hurts when he goes for hours without texting after he gets off work and that he doesn't update me. Yet he does this a lot. We see each other twice a week and on weekdays he goes silent and doesn't text me after he gets off work. He usually just texts me "good night." Should I be concerned?

Hey, so I used to have the same issues with my girl or ex, (we actually met yesterday and decided we needed a break) she used to do the same, not text for hours and it upset me because it really doesn't take longer than 20 seconds to send a text. We all are busy but no we aren't the president of the USA to be that busy. My advice would be to talk to him about it in a non aggressive way, always avoid you and use I. Be like: whenever I don't get a response, it makes me feel ignored for example. I would appreciate if we can have more communication because it makes me concerned about our relationship. Communication is key, but I would stay alert because this just happened to me... when they start pulling away there might be something up.
