My friend is confusing me?

I have a male friend he calls me missy but recently he started calling me angle. When he is drunk he calls me darling lovely and wants to talk on the phone not text. I'm confused by this I'm worried he might be falling for me I just don't understand him

No nothing romantic, I'm always there for him and I appreciate him I listen to his problems and he does the same for me but I just don't see him in that way and I just hope he feels the same as its a friendship I don't want to lose
