It’s not politically correct to define a man in any way anymore. That’s probably not true, but i’m certain it’s inappropriate to define women now. And if we’re trying to achieve equality, then it should be inappropriate to define men.
Men should get to define themselves without the input of women.

  • I would like to answer this question from a male perspective... But I don't think it's arrogant, these are just the essential qualities...

10 Qualities that Make a Man a Man

A man is not born a man, he is made a man. It is a process that takes time, effort and most importantly, the right qualities.

Here are 10 qualities that make a man a man:

    1. A man is strong.

He is physically and mentally strong. He is able to withstand the challenges life throws at him.

    2. A man is confident.

He knows who he is and what he wants. He is not afraid to go after what he wants.

    3. A man is determined.

He sets his goals and works hard to achieve them. He never gives up.

    4. A man is independent.

He can take care of himself and does not rely on others.

    5. A man is responsible.

He takes care of his responsibilities and does not shirk them.

    6. A man is respectful.

He respects others and their opinions, even if he does not agree with them.

    7. A man is honest.

He is truthful and does not mislead others.

    8. A man is loyal.

He is faithful to his friends, family and partners.

    9. A man is humble.

He does not think he is better than others and is always willing to learn.

    10. A man is grateful.

He is thankful for what he has and does not take things for granted.

What are the Masculine man traits?

We all know the type – the strong, silent type who’s stoic in the face of adversity and always ready with a witty one-liner. He’s the guy who always has an opinion but is never afraid to back down from a fight. He’s the guy who you’d want by your side in a crisis but who also knows how to have a good time.

So what is it that makes a man masculine? Is it his physical strength? His ability to fix things? His sense of humor?

The answer is, of course, all of these things and more. But there are also some less obvious qualities that make a man masculine.

    Here are 10 of them:

    1. He’s a Leader

A masculine man is a leader, both in his personal life and in his professional life. He’s the one who others look to for guidance and direction.

    2. He’s Confident

    3. He’s Independent

A masculine man is independent and self-sufficient. He doesn’t need anyone else to take care of him or make decisions for him.

    4. He’s decisive

A masculine man is decisive. He knows what he wants and he goes after it. He’s not afraid to make decisions, even if they’re tough ones.

    5. He’s ambitious

A masculine man is ambitious. He has goals and he’s driven to achieve them. He’s always looking for ways to improve and grow.

    6. He’s competitive

    9. He’s protective

A masculine man is protective. He’s always looking out for the people he cares about and he’s always ready to defend them.

    10. He’s humble

A masculine man is humble. He doesn’t need to brag about his accomplishments or put others down. He knows that his actions speak for themselves.

Can Men be Taught Good Qualities?

It is often said that good qualities are something that one is born with. However, there are many factors that can influence the development of good qualities, such as environment, upbringing, and education.

This means that it is possible for men to be taught good qualities:

    • One of the most important qualities that men can learn is respect. Respect for others is essential in any interactions, whether personal or professional. It is important to be able to see the other person’s point of view and to be able to communicate effectively.
    • Another important quality is empathy. This is the ability to understand how another person is feeling and to share in their emotions. This can be a difficult quality to learn, but it is important in order to be able to relate to others.
    • In addition, men can learn to be more emotionally intelligent. This means being aware of and managing one’s own emotions, as well as being able to understand and respond to the emotions of others.
    • Finally, men can learn to be more self-aware. This means being aware of one’s own thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and how they impact others. It is important to be able to reflect on one’s own behaviour in order to learn and grow.

While good qualities may be something that one is born with, it is also possible for men to learn good qualities. Respect, empathy, emotional intelligence, and self-awareness are all important qualities that can be learned.
